1 Second majors can be chosen from any of the other eight-unit majors defined for the Bachelor of Science, or (with the approval of the Program Coordinator) from other eight-unit majors from other undergraduate programs in the University.
Students cannot take both mathematics major and mathematics and statistics major at the same time.
2 Students majoring in Mathematics and Statistics in the Bachelor of Science program can not study these courses as electives

Students will require their Program Coordinator's approval if they wish to include MAT1000 Mathematics Fundamentals and MAT1100 Foundation Mathematics as electives towards the Bachelor of Science program majoring in Mathematics.

• Year 12 English (4 SA) or equivalent
• Year 12 Mathematics B (4 SA) or equivalent

Domestic and international students from a non-English speaking background are required to satisfy English Language requirements. This program requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
