Undergraduate study of Business Economics, study program Management, enables students to gain basic knowledge in the field of business economics in terms of understanding its basic models, concepts and principles. Special emphasis is given to analysis and comparison of methods and techniques in the field of management, especially managerial functions and modern trends in management. Courses are designed to stimulate scenario planning on the basis of stakeholder analysis to encourage students to identify which consequences specific decisions and actions could have on the identified stakeholders’ interests. Students are stimulated to look for integrative solutions and exhibit cooperative behavior in order to develop and strengthen their ethics, inclusiveness and socially responsible behavior. In addition, during their studies, students strengthen their presentation skills, skills of listening, dialogue, negotiations, teamwork and networking.
By continuing their studies, our students gain specialized knowledge in the field of business economics and management which are further expanded and deepened with regard to their undergraduate studies. Special emphasis is given to analysis, synthesis and evaluation of factors of internal and external environment in the national and international context, in various market situations, with the purpose of making managerial decisions based on the principles of microeconomic analysis. In that way, we prepare our students for decision-making in the conditions of risk, uncertainty, ambiguity and asymmetry of information. By reaching the end of their studies, our students become competent to take responsibility to design effective managerial decisions with the purpose to develop business systems and increase their value based on ethical and socially responsible decision-making.
