This app is a internationally accredited course that promotes an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing the marine atmosphere. It incorporates important components of marine biology, oceanography, marine geoscience and environmental management to give students with the awareness and technical abilities applicable to a wide range of marine specialities. Students may tailor their degrees to coincide with their interests and career aspirations by selecting specialist subjects and/or minors.

Year 12 or equivalent. Assumed knowledge: English (Units 3/4( C), mathematical methods (Components 3/4( C), chemistry (Components 3/4,C). Recommended: At least one of economics, Earth and Environmental Science, Geography, Marine Science, specialist maths or physics (Components 3/4,C). Students without chemistry (Components 3/4C) or mathematical methods (Components 3/4C) needs to take chemistry and/or mathematics preparatory subjects in Phase 1.
