This qualification relates to people employed in the marine sector seeking a Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) certification of proficiency at the capacity of:Masteron commercial vessels around 2-4 m in length over the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) orchief mate or deck watchkeeper on vessels around 35 m in span over the EEZ or chief mate or deck watchkeeper on vessels up to 80 m in span in inshore waters. Licensing/Regulatory InformationThis qualification is required to acquire an AMSA certification of proficiency for a Master <2 4 metres NC as defined in the National Standard for Commercial Vessels (NSCV) Section D.
