The Tourism Industry program at HTL International School of Hospitality, Tourism and Languages offers students a comprehensive introduction to the dynamic world of travel, hospitality, and related services. Designed for ambitious individuals eager to develop their expertise and practical skills in the tourism sector, this program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience to prepare graduates for a successful career in a global industry. Throughout the course, students will explore key aspects such as tourism management, sustainable development, customer service excellence, and the integration of innovative technologies in travel services. A distinctive feature of the program is the emphasis on language proficiency; students are required to learn and demonstrate competence in at least two foreign languages, equipping them to communicate effectively in diverse international environments. This multilingual approach enhances employability and enables graduates to serve a broad customer base, including international tourists and corporate clients.
Furthermore, the program incorporates an internship component, providing students with real-world industry exposure by working within established tourism and hospitality organizations. This practical training not only reinforces classroom learning but also helps students build valuable professional networks and gain insights into operational challenges and best practices within the industry. The curriculum is continuously updated to reflect current trends and technological advances in tourism, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the evolving demands of this vibrant field. Students will also develop essential soft skills such as teamwork, communication, cultural awareness, and problem-solving, which are critical for delivering high-quality services and enhancing customer satisfaction. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to pursue careers in tourism management, travel consultancy, event planning, hotel administration, and other related sectors. The program aims to foster innovative thinking, adaptability, and a global outlook, setting students on a path toward leadership roles within the international tourism industry.

After the theoretical part of the courses is finished, all students are invited to do an internship. We recommend to join our internship for a minimum of 3 months. HTL International School has signed a huge variety of educational agreements with different hotel chains, companies and travel operators nationally, mainland and islands. According to Spanish law, it is possible to do a part time (20 h/week) or full time (40 h/week) internship during the study period or after the theoretical part is finished. Normally, the companies provide some grant, its quantity depends on the company policy regarding the interns. Some of the internship positions are published directly on our Internships&Jobs Portal. In case you have a company interested in you as an intern in Spain or abroad, please contact us to sign the internship agreement with your company.
