In the program you will follow the rapid developments in the field of (bio)medical technology, and you will learn to translate these to the needs of clinical practice. During the program you will learn to use models for patient-specific solutions, improving the diagnostic abilities of doctors and enabling them to make a more soundly based choice of treatment. In addition, you will learn to carry out self-reliant clinical research and gain insight into the healthcare system. After graduation you will be able to find employment in a teaching hospital or (regional)hospitals. You will get a responsible position in the decision-making process regarding the diagnosis and treatment of individual patients. Your options also include further training to become a clinical physicist. Another choice could be a position in industry, playing an intermediary role between medical specialists and product developers. The program has been established partly by medical specialists.
