This qualification reflects the role of workers who provide services to customers in regard to emotional health difficulties. They could offer counselling, referral, advocacy and education/health promotion services.These workers have to have high level specialist knowledge, skills and competencies particularly in respect to laws affecting individuals with mental health issues, the selection of services available in their mind and medical issues related to emotional wellbeing.
