Description
Study programme is carried out by two cooperating universities and the graduates are presented two diplomas: Bachelor (Hons) in Music Production diploma issued by University of Central Lancashire (United Kingdom) and Bachelor of Music technologies and industry diploma issued by Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania).
Study programme encompasses creative, commercial and technological aspects of music production. The courses will be delivered by practitioners and theorists coming from various creative fields. All the lecturers have solid professional experience and innovative thinking, which will make your studies interesting and valuable.
Competencies Acquired
Graduates will be able:
- To create audio visual installation environments with reference to theory and practice in this area;
- To compose musical material using music technology software, hardware and the recording studio as creative tools;
- To appraise and utilise the technologies employed within various media workflows;
- To apply the principles of effective teamwork within a disciplined and professional environment;
- To administrate the processes within project development and its implementation while creating original works in the areas of sound recording and design, music technology and related media;
- To evaluate and contextualise creative output and working processes in presentation of individual work.
- Critically evaluate and contextualize music production, performance, cultural events and products, by using academic language.
Career Opportunities
Graduates of Music Production programme will be able:
- To pursue studies in Masters programmes in Arts;
- To work as sound specialists in performance and media industries;
- To be independent sound artists;
- To create their own business.

Requirements
Applicant for the Music Production programme should have obtained secondary education certificate or equivalent degree and proven capability to speak, read and write in English. Applicant should submit an e-portfolio, CD or DVD of his / her recent work and to participate in an interview, which can take place on-line, if the applicant cannot be present.
