The Accreditation Certification in not for profit and Social Enterprise provides an introduction to social entrepreneurship and societal invention and develops knowledge and skills in the regions of financial management and funding. This class offers key insights in to social entrepreneurship and societal innovation as drivers of not-for-profit, community-oriented enterprises. The course is industry-relevant and adaptive research styles are normally provided. This class provides managerial skills for individuals seeking to work in the vast and intricate aspects of social creation and entrepreneurship as they relate solely to not-for-profit enterprises. Career options involve managing non-government or non-for-profit businesses, policy-makers, older managers, and chief executives of social market, public, community and/or third business organisations.
- Applicants should have completed an UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or filed other evidence of general and professional qualifications which demonstrates possibility to pursue graduate studies. Applicants without a diploma require eight years' full time relevant work experience and evidence of a general capacity to undertake tertiary education. The English competency requirement for local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
