Nursing and Public Health

This joint application welcomes multi-skilled professionals that meet the present requirements for employment in the area of nursing and nursing, additionally, who are able to apply their knowledge and techniques of general health. Graduates may find employment in areas such as health care settings for health promotion agencies.

This Class has professional accreditation from the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council. Candidates are eligible to apply for registered nurse standing with all the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and to apply for membership of the Australian College of Nursing; People Health Association of Australia and the Australian Health Promotion Association.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as Another Language (Units 4 & 3, C).
