The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program equips students with the broad base of knowledge and skills necessary to provide professional nursing care in an increasingly complex health care system. The Langara College Nursing Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing using the Collaborative Curriculum, revised May 2004. Upon completion of the program students are eligible to write the Canadian Registered Nurse Exam (CRNE).The Langara College Nursing Program provides students with a broad base of knowledge and skills to practice nursing in todayпПХs and tomorrowпПХs complex health care system. With a focus on caring and health promotion, students learn to work with individuals, families, communities, and health professionals in a variety of practice settings. The program assists students to develop sensitivity to peopleпПХs experiences with health and healing. Educational methods emphasize student and faculty interactions and individual learning processes.
