Graduates of the Class will be eligible to apply to the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia for endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner.
All candidates need to: a) have successfully completed a Graduate Diploma or equivalent into their nursing specialization field , b) hold current Australian physician Regulation Agency (AHPRA) overall registration as a registered nurse without a conditions on enrollment relating to unsatisfactory professional performance or unprofessional behavior , c) have a minimum of five years of full time equivalent (FTE) experience as a Registered Nurse containing: *minimum of 3 years of post-registration knowledge in their speciality field , and *a minimum of twelve months FTE at an advanced practice level at the relevant specialty area of training , and d) be now employed for a minimum of 0.6 FTE in an advanced practice role in their specialization area. All applicants must be sure they properly answer the question relating to nursing present certificate after applying. SATAC will attempt to ensure their enrollment online enroll with AHPRA but should SATAC is unable to do so, applicants are asked to submit a certified copy of their certificate.
