This app is designed for registered nurses seeking to develop advanced knowledge and abilities required to support a leadership job that builds up on generalist and specialist education in a clinical speciality stream of their choice. It will offer three clinical flows for students to choose from. All these are Mentalhealth, Critical Care and Clinical Control. The class recognises the evolving role of the nurse at specialist practice across a wide variety of preferences and the need for emerging leaders in nursing to gain additional education in order that they can subscribe to lead health care practice in their field of preference. In addition this class provides students with the chance to engage in research activities that will give rise to evidence-based nursing practice in their speciality area.

Applicants will need to meet all of 3 criteria: A) hold a Bachelor of Nursing B) be registered, or be eligible to enroll, as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), or equivalent overseas regulatory body ) be employed in a relevant health surroundings. The health setting has to be relevant to the nursing flow chosen.
