By applying contemporary physico-chemical method the candidate is capable to devise a reaction mechanism and elucidate the structure of natural compounds, including optically active ones. The candidate is well versed in the methods used in research and development in organic chemistry, e.g. in planning and executing multi-step organic syntheses, utilization catalysts and non-traditional synthetic methodologies. The core of candidate's the knowledge base form: Advanced methods of organic synthesis, methods of structure elucidation, correlation of structure with physical, chemical and biological properties of organic compounds.
