Osteopathic Medicine

This application is intended to create a crucial test of this idea and practice of osteopathy and to produce primary care health practitioners who are able to address complex problems and think rigorously and independently. The degree has been built on a professional model which incorporates the principles of evidence-based clinic having a holistic paradigm of patient-centred health care. Osteopathy is a holistic approach of manual and diagnosis therapy used to treat musculoskeletal and other functional disorders of the body.

Accredited by the Osteopathy Board of Australia. Graduates may apply to become a registered osteopath. They have been entitled to professional registration with Osteopathy Australia (OA).

• Relevant bachelor degree in clinical sciences majoring in Osteopathic Studies, and Human Structure and Function, or equivalent
