Entry into the program is granted only with prior sponsorship by a Pharmaceutics faculty member and approval of the faculty. The program of course work is divided into three components: (1) prerequisites which define the level of entry into the program; (2) an abbreviated core program which is analogous to the major; and (3) seminars and literature review.

Students are admitted to the School of Pharmacy PharmD Program only after the completion of the college-level prerequisites noted below, generally taking three years to complete.Preference may be given to applicants who have earned a BA, BS or higher degree. The courses listed below may be taken at any accredited college, university or community college in the United States. Courses must be approved by the School of Pharmacy. The Admissions Committee strongly recommends completion of science and mathematics courses within the last five years. English Language Requirements IELTS band: 7
