Physical Sciences

With nearly 60 Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs in 39 subject areas, we are one of the most comprehensive science faculties in Canada. The Bachelor of Science (BSc) General degree allows you to focus on more than one area of study. By selecting from a variety of major and minors as well as optional courses, you can create a diversified degree based on your own interests. Your major must be in Science, but your minor can be from Science; Arts; Business; or Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences. (Double majors are also available.)A Physical Sciences Major or Minor allows students to blend interests from the Department of Physics as well as the Department of Chemistry. Courses from Astronomy (ASTRO), Biochemistry (BIOCH), Chemistry (CHEM), Geophysics (GEOPH), Mathematical Physics (MAPH), and Physics (PHYS) can be used towards this major or minor.
