Students with the four-year course explore the human body in detail, and analyse how each bone, muscle, joint, and fascia enables human movement and evolution across a variety of age brackets and disabilities. Students create a sophisticated understanding of how the heart, lungs, brain, and nerves work and how to improve peoples' lives through movement and exercise. Students will: learn how to see, review, evaluate and apply evidence from science and research in to the methods of health care and health services; enhance their communication skills in listening, speaking, explaining, and teaching; develop in depth understanding of ordinary function and evolution of the musculoskeletal, cardiothoracic, and neural methods; apply their knowledge and skill to assess, prevent, and treat degenerative and developmental diseases of the musculoskeletal, cardiothoracic, and neural methods; comprehend and then apply the professional integrity, responsibilities, values, and standards for the practice of physiotherapy; and also develop exemplary clinical diagnostic and reasoning abilities.

Entry to the program relies in an entry status. A status can be achieved by a year 12 ATAR, additional Australian eligibility, work experience, or an international qualification.
