Requirements for the Piano Programme at Gaetano Donizetti Institute of Music Studies

The Piano Programme at Gaetano Donizetti Institute of Music Studies is designed to provide students with the highest level of musical training. Our curriculum is designed to develop the skills necessary to become a successful pianist.

In order to be accepted into the Piano Programme, applicants must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in piano playing. This includes a minimum of two years of private piano instruction, or equivalent experience. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of music theory and sight-reading.
