Political market introduces students to key financial discussions inside a wider socio-political context. It is created for students keen to engage in social, political and economical debate. This system focuses on what economic activity relates to and is shaped by political, institutional, social, cultural and historical factors through the research of topics involving globalisation, social and economic policy, labour, regional economies and financial rights. Core components of study research the history of economics as a discipline, economic research and theory, and also key debates concerning political financial structures, institutions and agents. Electives comprise a range of specialist areas, such as development, migration, ecological and financial sustainability, trade and finance, and supply opportunities for interdisciplinary study.
