Description

The BA degree of Politics and International Relations with a Year in China/Hong Kong is a four-year programme offered in partnership with the University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) andChina Foreign Affairs University, Beijing. Students from the University of Kent registered for this degree will spend the first two years at Kent, they will then study in China/Hong Kong in their third year and return to Kent for their final year.

This programme will be of particular interest to those wishing to study politics and international relations whilst also integrating into a different educational, cultural, social and linguistic environment.

While in China/Hong Kong the students will follow an approved course of study drawn from the course offerings at our partner institutions, all courses at partner institutions will be taught in English.

Mandarin is a compulsory component of the programme at stages one and two if students are studying in mainland China, however, it is optional for students wishing to study in Hong Kong.

  • Access to HE Diploma: The University of Kent will not necessarily make conditional offers to all access candidates but will continue to assess them on an individual basis.
