The Master of Professional Accounting higher level is a two-year path made for non-accounting pupils who would like a career in the accounting profession and also would like to improve their own learning experience by including the following area specialisation of their course. The learning experience and knowledge are as from the MPA high level are centered on the practice of bookkeeping. Within the MPA higher level, students may choose to perform one of 2 potential specialisations, based upon their own career aspirations. The Financial Management specialisation enables students to focus on areas of fiscal management, such as securities and banking, while the specialisation in International Business allows students to broaden their own understanding of inter cultural areas of the business environment.
This Class Empowers students to Satisfy the educational and membership requirements of Some of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ, the Institute of Public Accountants, and international professional associations ACCA and CIMA.
A recognised Bachelors degree, or equivalent, with an average mark of 50% or a UOW Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting. Applicants with other relevant tertiary qualifications or large relevant professional of managerial experience may also be considered for entry.
