Professional Accounting

This program equips pupils with specialised knowledge and skills necessary to practice as an accounting pro. An attribute of the program is that in addition to having a strong theoretical underpinning, it gives a solid employed approach to all elements of accounting and related disciplines. Additionally, it allows students to undertake electives in areas like finance, financial planning, information systems, private and public sector management, business administration and other disciplines which complement accounting. This will considerably extend the information and skill base of their pupils and help provide greater opportunities for the employment.

• Applicants must possess a bachelor degree or equivalent as approved by the University
• Students that have undertaken an undergraduate degree with a major in accounting using a Australian institution are not eligible for entry into their education.
