This class provides key trained in ethics, emotional assessmentand therapeutic interventions and other professional skills, which achieves 50 percent of their requirements towards full registration as being a generalist psychologist. To satisfy the demand to get forensically oriented spouses in the field, this level also addresses emotional practice over the forensic domain. To achieve full registration following the completion of this one-year level, you must undertake additional suitably supervised placement hours which you arrange yourself at the following year.
This course is accredited with terms by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC). The objective of this Master of Professional Psychology is to provide 1 year regular training at the professional practice of psychology sufficient to organize students for a final year of supervised internship to finish registration requirements.
Applicants will be subject to competitive decision based on academic excellence and capability for practitioner competence evaluated by meeting, outside referees' reports, and attention of relevant specialist experience.
