In your honours year, you will complete an individual research project and undertake advanced studies in counselling, emotional assessment, ethics and research procedures. As a graduate, you'll be eligible to apply for provisional registration as a psychologist and also for entry to APAC accredited masters or doctoral-level training programs that result in full registration as a psychologist.

All the psychology courses offered at Deakin meet the needs of the PBA and the Australian Psychological Society (APS), translating into excellent career and job opportunities for the students. Deakin's Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).

Entry will be determined by operation in Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English EAL (English as an additional language) or at least 25 in English besides EAL or equivalent.
