Do you ever wonder how our senses work? Or why people behave differently in groups than when they are alone? How your personality changes when you get older? Which part of the brain processes emotions and what our consciousness is? How you choose a new phone? How a company keeps its employees healthy? How to help a child with learning difficulties? This program has a flexible and innovative curriculum that gives you the freedom to combine a major and a minor from the nine major fields of Psychology. You may choose your own major-minor combination and decide in which area you would like to specialize during your Master's program. You will receive personal guidance to compose a program that best fits your talents and career needs. You will build up expertise in the areas of your choice: Work and Organizational Psychology, Cognitive Neuropsychology, Economic Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Medical Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Lifespan Psychology, Psychological Methods and Data Analysis, or Social Psychology. You will acquire a solid foundation in various fields of Psychology that will enable you to practice diverse professions.

Admission requirements

We require successful applicants to have mathematics at the equivalent to Dutch VWO level; if not, you are required to follow (and pass) a mathematics course offered by our School during September and October. Specific requirements vary according to the educational system in each country. However, as a general rule, you are required to have followed mathematics up to and including the last year of high school. Mathematics course exemption will be given if: * You have taken mathematics as an examination subject; AND * You received a pass grade; AND * Your high school diploma is equivalent to the Dutch VWO diploma; OR * You have a UK or Cambridge International A level in mathematics (at grade A, B, C or D). A good knowledge of math is essential for being successful in the Bachelor's program in Psychology. If you do not master math, you can have problems with research courses and, as a result, you may take longer to complete your studies.
