This specialisation will provide you with both a theoretical background and practical training in neuropsychology and (clinical) neuropsychological research.
This one-year programme is grounded in the neurosciences relevant to neuropsychology with a strong focus on evidence-based practice. This means that you will be taught to focus on the use of current best scientific evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients, taking into account diagnostics, prognostics and interventions. The specialisation is suitable not only for students who wish to become professionally active in the field of clinical neuropsychology, for instance as a health care psychologist, clinical neuropsychologist or clinical psychologist. The programme is also suitable for students who are interested in a scientific career.
