This program motivates students to be the developmental or educational psychologists in a range of settings including schools, handicap providers, hospitals, employment agencies and private training. Offered together with the characteristics of Health and Education, this class has been designed to meet certain requirements for full registration as a psychologist. The Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) has an innovative and stimulating program of coursework, practicums and research in human learning and development.

An completed recognised four year bachelor degree in psychology (or higher award) completed over the last ten years with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.0 (roughly QUT's 7 point scale) at the fourth quarter of analysis. The degree must be accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) as an 4 year training (or equivalent) program. Additional entry requirements include two referee reports, interview and questionnaire.
