You can study Public Health with us full-time or through our flexible part-time modular learning experience. Alternatively you can study individual Public Health units.

Our range of Public Health courses is intended to meet the demands of individuals at different stages of their career and individual development. Given that the field of Public Health entails multi-agency involvement and partnerships, we welcome practitioners and professionals from a range of backgrounds, not necessarily in health. Students studying the MSc Public Health have come from backgrounds as doctors, teachers, nurses, midwives and community public health workers.
Our Public Health courses are linked with the Health and Wellbeing academic group at Bournemouth University and are designed to reflect local, national and international agenda's for the continuing professional development of the Public Health workforce. By the end of the course you can apply for student membership of The Royal Society for Public Health.
Each unit of study is normally delivered over 5 full days or 10 half days at Bournemouth University, Lansdowne campus, and will be assessed individually via a variety of different methods. In addition to this you are expected to study privately in order to successfully complete your chosen units/course of study.
