This degree is designed for professionals in a variety of settings, including health departments and community businesses. Public health professionals need to effectively check and respond to emerging public health issues. This course emphasises a comprehensive assessment of determinants of health, such as wider social and environmental factors along with physiological risk factors. Students can study a broad array of evaluation processes and research methods like policy analysis, economic evaluation, epidemiology and qualitative procedures. Students also receive technical abilities in community development and health promotion programs, and additionally complete a research and clinic experience in the test of some contemporary public health issue.
