Description Requirements

The real estate markets have become global, making the real estate profession an international enterprise. At the same time global, commercial brokers report huge differences among local real estate markets. That urges for real estate professionals who are trained in integrating financial and economic-geographic skills with knowledge of local institutions. The Department of Economic Geography at the University of Groningen is one of the leading centres in Continental Europe in real estate. It offers a Master of Real Estate Studies that integrates financial engineering, location theory and planning.

Admission requirements

For candidates with a HBO-diploma from a selected number of HBO-programmes there are a limited number of places available in the pre-master programme for Real Estate Studies. The deadline for application is June 1st. There is a selection based on motivation and study results. The pre-master programme consists of 60 EC (1 year, fulltime, part-time not possible) and the start is in September. Send the request for admission to the pre-master before June 1st containing your result list, Curriculum Vitae and motivation to: University of Groningen, Faculty of Spatial Sciences, attn. De deadline voor aanmelden is 1 juni. Er vindt selectie plaats op basis van motivatie en studieresultaten.
