It is at the forefront of emerging medico-scientific technology offering hope to many needy couples, and livelihood opportunities to those with demonstrable skills and comprehension. More and more healthcare practitioners are growing special interests in this area - especially GPs, family planning practitioners and specialist gynaecologists employed in menopause and infertility. In addition there are similar specialisations emerging in counselling and nursing, and one of scientists.
- A undergraduate degree in medical, medicine, health or medical science and: A Honours, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or higher qualification in medicine, nursing or health or medical science
- Or Commencement of a recognised post graduate medical practitioner training course (e.g. overall practice, obstetrics & gynaecology)
- Or one year fulltime equivalent of postgraduate professional experience in medicine, nursing, health or medical science.
