This unit is part of the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package. It clarifies that the performance outcomes, knowledge and skills needed to responsibly sell or serve alcohol. Responsible clinics must be undertaken wherever alcohol is sold or served, including where alcohol trials have been functioned throughout at-home merchandise tastings. This unit, therefore, applies to almost any workplace where alcohol can be sold or served, including all kinds of hospitality venues, packed liquor outlets and wineries, breweries and distilleries. It incorporates the information requirements, under land and state liquor licensing law, for employees engaged in the sale or service of alcohol.
