This unit is part of the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package. It describes the operation outcomes, knowledge and skills needed to sell or serve alcohol. Responsible clinics have to be undertaken where alcohol is served or sold, including where alcohol samples are served during at-home merchandise tastings. This apparatus, therefore, pertains to any workplace where alcohol can be served or sold, including all types of hospitality places, packaged spirits shops and wineries, breweries and distilleries. It integrates the information requirements, under state and territory spirits licensing law, for employees engaged in the sale or service of alcohol.
