Sociology can help you understand the connection between personal troubles and public issues and develop a better understanding of the complex world in which we live. You will study how and why they change and the effects of these changes on our society.Sociology graduates find employment in a variety of areas such as social services, criminal justice, social research (including government, independent, and contract research), industrial relations, and administration. An Honours degree could lead to graduate work in sociology, preparing you for opportunities in university teaching and research.
