Provides students with the skills necessary to assess, plan and treat people with communication and swallowing disorders in a range of different contexts.The course is closely coordinated with subjects such as speech science, psychology, audiology, education, linguistics, rehabilitative science, and neuroscience and allied healthcare.Students with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70 per cent or more after the third year of study could be invited to complete an Honours program over the year. Those students will transfer into the Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours for the fourth and last year.

  • University admission requirements apply. International students have to deliver an English language evaluation approved by ECU having a score comparable to a IELTS Academic overall minimum score of 7.5 (no individual band less than 7.0). Internationally schooled applicants could also have to fulfill this requirement.Minimum English normal requirements for this particular course may also be satisfied with a number of the next:Year 12 English ATAR/English Literature ATAR grade C or equivalent or better

  • OrSuccessfully completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at bachelor degree or higher in an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent).
