Sustainable resource management is a planning and decision making process that seeks to coordinate and balance the social, economic and environmental demands on resource use to achieve long term sustainable benefits and reduce conflicts among resource users.

The MSc Sustainable Resource Management (formerly called Integrated Resource Management) is designed for people with career interests in organisations with responsibility for environmental planning, resource allocation and overseeing the impact of resource management decisions. You will benefit from practical knowledge and hands-on experience from government and non-government experts, and explore questions surrounding societys coordination of natural resources; how we can manage them better and prioritise their use. The programme will equip you with the necessary tools to pursue a range of international career paths in planning and managing environmental and economic demands.
