The programme focuses on decision making processes which rise above the level of a single organisation and which occur at the interface of the public and private sectors. Our world is becoming ever more technically complex. And management at the interface of engineering and infrastructure on the one hand, and of policy and decision making on the other is becoming ever more important. It demands a range of skills rarely available from the one source. The MSc programme in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management (SEPAM) seeks to offer students the capability to transfer technical knowledge obtained in bachelor programmes into the worlds of management and operations, especially in such multi-actor sociotechnical environments as transport, logistics, energy, industry, water and ICT. It pulls down the sharp know-how of technology into the fuzzier world of management practice. This two-year English-language full-time MSc is a gateway to impressive careers in business management, consultancy, government, and research.
