This course can facilitate the development of disciplinary knowledge within the region of second language acquisition, in addition to the area of teaching English to speakers of different languages. It'll equip teachers with all the basic principles for classroom practice in the region of TESOL and lets them explore current concepts and pedagogy in second language instruction. Students will explore classroom issues related to TESOL and review 2nd language instruction methodologies. Students also identify investigate trends within the business of teaching English as a 2nd Language.

Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications or the Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language in Flinders University or equivalent qualification.
