Stream A: For Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) enrolled teachers seeking further recognition as a TESOL specialist. Stream B: For students who usually do not involve VIT recognition for TESOL, such as those going to teach English overseas, or competent TESOL teachers that want to expand their professional knowledge and abilities.
Lawyers of Stream A are eligible to register with the Victorian Institute of Teaching Being a teacher of TESOL.
A four-year education degree, or equivalent, or a four-year undergraduate degree with a significant component of English language study, or equivalent, or a undergraduate degree in any discipline and 50 credit points, or equivalent, of graduate study in education. Stream A applicants must be qualified for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Applicants with no relevant degree but using minimum 6 years relevant work experience have been encouraged to provide a CV with their application to be viewed.
