This program will prepare students to comprehend the diverse developmental and academic needs of young individuals. Students will acquire subject expertise to show over the stages of instruction, choosing specialisation from a range of disciplines. Students will complete 60 days of professional experience during the program.
The Master of Teaching (Secondary) is accredited by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Professional registration may need a software to the professional human body and may have additional or ongoing requirements beyond the conclusion of the degree. - Grade Point Average (GPA) at 4
- Applicants project that the Master of Teaching needs to hold a doctorate degree or approved equivalent in a relevant subject area/s for primary or secondary instruction as per the National Program Standards and the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- For secondary teaching students must qualify in 2 separate teaching areas from the above listed areas
- NB: prep minimal prerequisites does not guarantee that an offer of a place. Entry in to all of La Trobe courses is based on competitive selection and there can be limited places available.
