The Master of Teaching (Secondary) is a licensed practitioner teaching qualification for students owning a suitable bachelor degree. It prepares graduates for careers in secondary school settings as well as other educational fields in NSW, other Australian states and internationally. The degree provides a sturdy qualification in secondary instruction, and is educated on campus and also at schools, through innovative blended teaching and learning approaches. Graduates meet the Australian Pro Standards for Graduate Teachers, required for enrollment together with the NSW Educational Standards Authority. There are two premature departure points. The Graduate Certificate in Educational Research (Secondary) will serve as a specialist Development qualification for now accredited teachers.
