Teaching Religious Education

The Graduate Certificate in Teaching Religious Education prepares graduates to teach religious instruction. It gives pupils with knowledge of those areas, principles, traditions and practices which form the basis for religious instruction. At Catholic Theological College and Yarra Theological Union the award fulfils the requirements of the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria Policy 1.7 Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic School.

Successful completion of an undergraduate degree, or an approved equivalent
