The MSc programme of Technology Management is a multidisciplinary programme which deals with the application of technology management models, technologies, processes, analytical and experimental research methods, etc. Therefore the graduate gains the theoretical and practical approach to technology and product management, innovations implementation in an industrial company and competitiveness based decision making in the challenging global market.
Career Opportunities
The graduates have in-depth knowledge of recent nanotechnologies, mechanical and chemical industrial engineering technologies and their management and high technology products.
After graduating this programme students can perform analytical, research, consultancy and managerial work at companies´ R&D, technology departments, work as project and product managers, to create, develop, implement, and manage technologies, or access to the PhD studies.
The MSc programme is a 2-year programme (4 semesters) equivalent to 120 ECTS credits. The programme is taught in English and incorporates an international dimension in all subjects.
Academic Focus
The Master´s Programme in Technology Management is aimed to present a framework of engineering, economical and management skills that empowers a student to understand the needs of innovative production in Lithuanian and foreign markets for advanced technologies.
Programme Contents
Students are provided with advanced study of practical and theoretical principles in mechatronics, adaptive systems; they analyse and design mechatronic systems and optimise their parameters.
The main study modules are: Innovative technologies, Quality engineering, Reverse engineering, Principles of aesthetics in engineering, Principles of international communication, Managerial finance, Research work, Master´s thesis.
