Teleaudiology

The Graduate Certificate of Teleaudiology is intended to prepare students to clinic in teleaudiology. The field of digital health employs electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support remote and distance clinical hearing health care. Find out how to assess communication difficulties, also inform, guide and recommend potential interventions to people with hearing difficulties. The class also offers students the skills and knowledge to perform in areas in public and professional education, public health matters and medical administration in hearing.

Standard entrance: Successful completion of an undergraduate degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree. Non-graduate special entrance: A special entrance provision is designed for applicants without formal qualifications but who have significant relevant work experience (usually at least five years) and signs of instructional capability (e.g. successful conclusion of a non-cognate degree, a certificate or diploma course at a TAFE with high grades). The faculty could determine selection criteria and restrictions in respect of classes to apply in addition to all those entrance requirements. Other Requirements: All enrolled students must retain a current Working with Children Check (from the right State Authority).
