TESOL and Foreign Language Teaching (FLT)

This system seeks to build up knowledge and skills for the qualified practice of language instruction. It will promote knowledge of teaching methodology and a range of other areas of comprehension, including linguistics, second and first language acquisition, and the value of technology in language education, and also the institutional and social contexts of language teaching. An essential portion of the training course could be the requirement to tackle observation of classrooms and take part in some form of instruction experience.

Applicants must have an undergraduate degree or equivalent as approved by the University Admissions Committee. No teaching experience is required.
