The Theatre program is designed to provide a solid grounding in all aspects of theatre education, with a firm foundation in the liberal arts. Theatre is a collaborative, interdisciplinary art that demands knowledge of literature, history, aesthetics, and psychology. No field of study is irrelevant in a discipline whose primary subject is the human story.Because we believe Christian artists are called to be culture-shapers, students in the Theatre program are expected to critically engage issues of faith and art at every stage of their development. With the guidance of instructors who are committed Christians and working professionals, students are challenged to apply classroom lessons to real theatre experience.
