This program prepares students for an effective starting career in tourism and hospitality, with a solid focus on the event based learning which is assembled progressively through the 3 years of study. A feature of this plan is the understanding of visiting lecturers that are practitioners that can share their wisdom and experiences, and field trips which aids students to gain current grasp of the tourism and hospitality environments. To provide students an additional advantage in their livelihood, subjects such as eco-tourism and Cultural and Heritage Tourism is going to probably soon be introduced to expose students to up coming and specialty tourism industries. Subjects such as Project Management for Occasions, along with Work-integrated Learning give students a more practical orientation towards their analysis and better prepare them for their livelihood.
This program is filed with TEQSA (Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency) and can be recognized by most Australian universities.
