Training and Assessment

This qualification reflects that the functions of individuals delivering assessment and training services from the postsecondary education and training (VET) sector. This qualification (or the skill sets derived from units of competency inside ) can be suitable preparation for individuals engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, being a factor of a structured VET program.The volume of learning of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is an average of six months to two years.Licensing/ / Regulatory Information Achievement of the qualification by trainers is a requirement of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.

Those entering this program must be able to demonstrate vocational competency within their proposed teaching and assessing field. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may comprise, but isn't restricted by, holding a relevant unit of competence or qualification.
