This program encompasses all aspects of existing veterinary clinic but using a distinctive focus on tropical and also tropical rural veterinary clinic for example tropical animal generation. Students acquire the information and skills to diagnose, treat and protect against disease in a wide range of animals, including companion animals, farm animals, aquatic species and native fauna. In addition, students acquire a thorough knowledge of animal production systems, especially tropical animal husbandry and aquaculture. Broad clinical coaching is undertaken in an Assortment of settings across north Queensland including Townsville, Cairns, Mackay, Charters Towers and the Atherton Tableland. Graduates are qualified for enrollment as veterinarians.
Australasian Veterinary Boards Council. Graduates are eligible to practice as veterinarians in Australia, New Zealand and UK.

- English (Units 3/4,C)
- Chemistry (Units 3/4,C)
- Mathematical methods (Units 3/4,C). Recommended: Science (Units 3/4,C). Students must give proof a current First Aid/CPR certificate and immunity to Q fever over the first instruction phase of their studies.
